sentence completion

1) The most difficult questions to answer were the ones about my future. I think they were hard for me to answer because I do not like thinking about the future, I just like to live in the moment and when the future comes, then it comes. I hardly think about the future.

2) Yes, my score corresponds to my own assessment of my level of adjustment because I do tend to have a negative outlook on life, and I view life pessimistically. Although I do have a positive outlook on life, I tend to have more of a pessimistic and negative outlook.

3) Some cautions that should be considered when interpreting the results are that that this test is not a standardized test that has been evaluated by a trained professional. It is only designed to help students understand projective assessment techniques. Also, when you are deciding whether your answer is P, C, or N, you could decide on the wrong letter, and then your score ends up different than it should be.

4) The value this type of test provides for therapists is that it allows the therapist to see if the answers are mostly negative and pessimistic, or more positive and optimistic, and they can tell if the person is generally a happy person, or more of an unhappy person.

5) This type of test might help an individual because they could see how they answer questions, and see if they are more optimistic or more pessimistic, just like it would help the therapist. It could help the individual understand themselves better and maybe help them think about why they are answering the questions the way they are.
